Canon Printer Driver For Mac El Capitan

Your model is not on the list of supported printers. You might find more information on the manufacturer's website. Otherwise, you may be able to get the printer partially working by manually selecting the driver for a similar model that is supported. Some features probably won't work as expected.

Mac

Since upgrading to OSX El Capitan, I can’t get my Air laptop to print to my Canon MG5350 printer. The Canon is connected to my desktop Mac Mini with USB, and the Air has always connected to it on the wireless network. The Mini connects to the Canon perfectly and prints. I’ve tried most things I can think of, including re-adding the printer.

In the Printers & Scanners preference pane, please click the plus-sign button to add a printer. The Add dialog will open.

Click the Advanced tab. Wait a few seconds for the printer search to complete, then from the popup menu labeled Use, choose

Select Software...

Another window will open with a list of available printer drivers. Only the drivers that have been installed will be listed, not all possible drivers. Choose the one for the model number closest to what you have, then click OK.
